Selah on a daddy date. Emery on a mommy date

Selah was kind enough to hold Em’s hand as she rode her bike today. It’s been so heartwarming to see them together lately. Selah’s been super sweet to Emery’s requests for hand holding, hugs, and kisses….

This picture pretty much sums up how my kids feel about my mom. They won’t leave her alone. My poor mom couldn’t even eat without them both “having” to be on her lap. Thanks for coming to see us Mom

Well, I’m 38 and that sounds old in one respect and young in another! I or to spend the weekend with the people I love the most: my family. Today I hiked Squaw Peak with my best friend aka Brian and had a great time. I realized at 38 my knees now hurt. But more importantly my heart is full. I think that’s the blessing as you age…..and I’ll take the sore knees for the love of family I have in my heart.

I think I heard “Papa” more in two days than I ever have! They sure loved his attention. Thanks Dad for the visit!

So fun now that Selah can bike far. This summer will be fun in Tahoe on bikes!
