09 MayGoodbye Chloe Emma
Well the dreaded day was yesterday. Selah’s first friends moved to Tulsa. I cannot say enough about this family. Chloe and Emma always treated Selah like a little sister. They loved her, hugged her, kissed her, encouraged her, included her, were patient with her, and it showed. Selah simply glowed around them. As cautious as Selah is, she was always herself around them and that told me a lot….even to their brother Drew and their wonderful parents. The Millers were the first house Selah ever trick or treated at, they were the first family I felt comfortable enough to let babysit Selah, we’ve spent the past few Christmases and Thanksgivings with them, vacationed with them, had Selah’s first sleepover with, and they truly have become family. This is a huge loss for our family because they were our family here. However we wish them much happiness in Tulsa and know we will see them again. They had a final “early” 8th birthday party before they left and here is a pic. We love and miss you Millers already…..sniff sniff
